IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup - Queyras, France (12-19 Jan 08)

Rose continues form with a 6th and 10th in Slalom

Some 12 hours drive from Abtenau, Sean and Coach Jane Stevens, headed off to Queyras in the Hautes-Alpes, France which is situated just on the border with Italy and south of the 2006 Paralympic alpine venue of Sestriere.

Only Sean Rose took part in this weeks events whilst Willoughby recooperated from her exertions and first foray into World Cup competition from Abtenau. Unfortunately Rose failed to capitalise in the Giant Slalom on his first run in both Monday and Tuesday's races crashing out on the second runs on both days to record a DNF.

However things changed in the slalom on Thursday and Friday with a fantastic 6th and a further 10th to add to his impressive World Cup season.
