The British Disabled Ski Team Squads for 2011-2012

We are very pleased to announce our 2011-2012 main squad selections. Our selection documents and athlete agreements are available for download from our rules, regulations and Insurance page.

World Cup Squad 2011-2012
Tim Farr	Tim is a paralympian and qualified to ski World Cup Slalom and Giant Slalom in the mens sitting category. Tim has had some injuries recently but is now recovered and back in competition again. He is looking forward to a great 2011-2012 season.
Kelly Gallagher	Kelly is a paralympian and is qualified to ski in all World Cup events except Downhill. Kelly and her Guide Charlotte Evans are a new partnership but have had remarkable success. Kelly is our GB number 1 skier and finished last season as European Slalom Champion and earned a Silver and a Bronze medal at the 2011 Skiing World Championships in Sestriere. She skis in the womens visually impaired category.

European Cup Squad 2011-2012
Peter Dunning	Pete has been with our squad for just the last season, but has shown great talent. Pete was a serving marine injured in Afghanistan. He has set his sights on qualifying for Sochi 2014. Qualified to ski Giant Slalom and Slalom at European Cup level, he skis in the mens sitting category.
Jade Etherington	Jade and her guide Fiona Gingell started their competitive skiing career last season and have earned medals in each of their races together so far. Jade skis in the womens visually impaired category and is qualified to ski slalom at European Cup level.
Mick Brennan	Mick joins us from the Combined services team. Mick has just recently (December 2011) laid down some very good results in competition in Austria and is looking forward to a great year.
Anna Turney	Anna is a paralympian and has had success at European, Noram and national level. Anna skis in the womens sitting category and is qualified to ski at European Cup level in all events.
